 Delivering better outcomes
at any scale

Too many projects are limited by lack of ambition, siloed perspectives and prior experience

The strongest outcomes happen when teams:

1. See the changing context — how market, tech, regulatory, and product shifts affect requirements.

2. Know what’s possible now (and soon) — current best practice and technological and therapeutic advances.

3. Avoid known pitfalls — learn from what others have tried and already solved.

4. Challenge "Absolutes" - are design conditions appropriate, should we really automate everything, we can't afford to ...

Our goal is to maximize the opportunity for the best project and performance outcome. We aim to do that by educating stakeholders, accessing the right expertise (internal and external), and providing resource where capacity is constrained.

All projects have a context.

Sustainable success rests on strategic alignment - where decisions are guided by deep market insight, informed by current best practices, and shaped by emerging science and technology. It is realized through disciplined execution that efficiently follows a logical progression from definition to delivery.

So Why Does This Matter?

Building a Biopharmaceutical Plant costs hundreds of millions or even billions.  All of the factors referenced above & MORE will impact outcome.

We created a model to look at a simple one line 2000L SUB suite - we considered the impact of three parameters;-

1. Titer - reflective of long-term company strategy (e.g. solely focused on getting a product through clinicals or investing also in its manufacture)  - we used a range 2.5g/L to 10 g/L.

2. Resin binding capacity - reflective of technology improvement.

3. Elimination of constraint - in this instance simply adding a second 2000 SUB.

We believe that the failure to properly identify, understand, and challenge manufacturing constraints is widespread across the industry. The range of titers we describe is commercially valid, with lower values often reflecting deliberate strategic choices to simplify the path to market. Similarly, the use of more familiar resins with lower binding capacity can result from comparable decisions and priorities during development.

Providing opportunity - supporting you

Pilot phase — we're building a network and we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking to  share insights, challenge assumptions, explore opportunities and consider and learn from perspectives of others.

We are striving both to provide opportunity for independent experts and to amplify impact of those that drive change and performance in industry.

Our model is to find, link, and coordinate the right experts so that the strategy, vision, and delivery, championed by those that drive change and performance, are informed by current best practice, ongoing research, evolving technology, market signals, and lessons learned elsewhere.

What this is - and what it is not ...

What this is ...

  • Concept / start phase - platform in pilot. We’re testing an open-innovation / open-talent model, recognizing that the right expertise often sits outside the organization.

  • Question → curation → coordination. We surface the real question, curate and coordinate outside experts, and work with them so you succeed.

  • Implementer first. You stay the hero; we support you as catalyst and connector.

  • A pathway for independents & academics. We surface opportunities for independent experts and academics to monetize and hone their talent and competencies, and to see real, practical impact from their contributions.

What this is Not ...

  • Not a traditional consultancy. We’re not selling delivery teams, long SOWs, or “we’ll take it from here.”

  • Not bench-constrained. We don’t stretch an in-house team; we look outside for the best-fit expertise.

  • Not recommendation-only. If our involvement doesn’t improve your outcome, we’ve missed the point. We want you to come back because our contribution made a difference.
